The “Arab Day” took place during the Water Berlin International Exhibition and Conference on April 25th 2013. German Water Partnership (GWP) was represented by the leader of the GWP-country section Egypt/Jordan by Dr. Richard J. Vestner, Managing Director of Dorsch International Consultants GmbH.
Dr. Vestner welcomed the participants of the conference in the name of all the association members, especially the present ministers, state secretaries, senior officials and entrepreneurs of the Arabian countries.
He expressed his gratitude to the Arab Countries Water Utilities Association (ACWUA) for the successful cooperation with GWP and appreciated the mutual trust, which has grown between both organizations and their staff for the past few years, and which has been proven in numerous projects.
