The smart, peaceful and inspirational environment combines artistic elements of architecture with various practical and versatile services satisfying all the needs of its residents and visitors.

The Dorsch Gruppe was awarded a consultancy services contract

The smart-city service at Lusail City positions it to be one of Qatar’s most advanced cities. Lusail will provide a connected, high-technology environment comprising both wired and wireless communication networks to offer advanced services. Lusail City’s residents, business community and visitors will have a variety of communication facilities which will allow them to access any network from any place and at any time.

This project is a new extension to the northeast of Doha. Lusail City will turn 3,500 hectares of undeveloped waterfront into a progressive, world-class city which will house 200,000 residents and accommodate 160,000 employees and 90,000 visitors, for a total estimated population of 450,000 people.

Lusail City will feature commercial towers, hospitals, ports, two golf courses, five stadiums, a commercial park for energy firms, retail spaces, schools, mosques, medical services, sports, entertainment, public avenues, recreational areas, 22 hotels, cultural centres and shopping centres.

On completion, Lusail City will provide a unique living environment by combining smart planning and smooth integration of mixed-use districts with open spaces and parks. The city will boast its own light rail network, a Lusail City highway and signature bridges connecting the different districts.
