Dorsch Consult Asia attended the opening of first Section of MRT Blue Line Extension for Public on 18 July 2019 on the occasion of his Majesty King Vajiralongkorn’s Birthday.
The Mass Rapid Transit Authority Of Thailand (MRTA) together with Operator BEM providing the public with free of charge rides on the first section of extension with 5 stations, Hua Lamphong station, Wat Mangkon station, Sam Yot station, Sanam Chai station, Itsaraphap station and Tha Phra station, a total distance of additional 5 kilometer into China town and to the other side of Cha Phrya River. The free of charge period will be for 2 months from 29 July 2019 to 28 September 2019 from 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM.
The new stations were designed with different unique architecture referring to the neighborhood of their location. Sanam Chai station, one of the most beautiful stations, is reflecting the style of the Ratthanakosin palace (picture above).
DC Asia is entrusted with the planning services for the subway extension in Bangkok comprising of three lanes since 2005. The current project is the first phase of the expansion of the MRT Blue Line with a total length of 27 km and 19 stations. The full extension to Lak Song will come into operation on 29 September 2019.
เปิดให้บริการส่วนต่อขยายรถไฟฟ้าสายสีน้ำเงินส่วนแรก
ดอร์ช คอนซัลท์ เอเชีย เข้าร่วมพิธีเปิดการให้บริการส่วนต่อขยายรถไฟฟ้าสายสีน้ำเงินส่วนแรกแก่สาธารณะเมื่อวันที่ 18 กรกฏาคม 2562 เนื่องในโอกาสเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษาสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวมหาวชิราลงกรณบดินทรเทพยวรางกูร การรถไฟฟ้าขนส่งมวลชนแห่งประเทศไทย ร่วมกับ บริษัททางด่วนและรถไฟฟ้ากรุงเทพ เปิดให้บริการส่วนต่อขยายรถไฟฟ้าสายสีน้ำเงินแก่สาธารณะโดยไม่เสียค่าใช้จ่ายในส่วนต่อขยายแรกรวม 5 สถานี ได้แก่ สถานีวัดมังกร สถานีสามยอด สถานีสนามไชย สถานีอิสรภาพ และสถานีท่าพระ ด้วยระยะทางที่เพิ่มขึ้น 5 กิโลเมตร ซึ่งจะเชื่อมต่อกับเยาวราชและอีกฝากของแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา โดยการให้บริการฟรีจะมีอย่างต่อเนื่องเป็นระยะเวลา 2 เดือนตั้งแต่วันที่ 29 กรกฏาคม 2562 ถึงวันที่ 28 กันยายน 2562 ตั้งแต่เวลา 10.00 – 16.00น. ในส่วนของสถานีส่วนต่อขยายนั้นได้รับการออกแบบภายในที่แตกต่างกันอย่างสวยงามโดยอ้างอิงจากพื้นที่ใกล้เคียงกับสถานี
สถานีสนามไชยได้รับคำชมให้เป็นสถานีที่สวยที่สุดในประเทศโดยการออกแบบที่อ้างอิงจากพระราชวังสมัยกรุงรัตนโกสินทร์
ส่วนต่อทั้งสายถึงสถานีหลักสอง จะเปิดให้ใช้อย่างเต็มรูปแบบในวันที่ 29 กันยายน 2562.
