To further strengthen and enlarge sustainable business relations between Germany and the Arab countries, the Ghorfa Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with high-profile partners from Germany and the Arab World, hosted the 22nd Arab-German Business Forum at the Hotel Ritz-Carlton in Berlin from June 25th to 27th, 2019.
The event was held under the patronage of the German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, H.E. Dr. Peter Altmaier, who gave a Keynote speech. In addition, the Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, Dr. Gerd Müller, who gave a keynote speech at this year’s Gala Dinner. Among the hosts was former Federal Minister and President of Ghorfa Dr. Peter Ramsauer. Federal Transport Minister Andreas Scheuer also participated at the event.
This year’s partner country of the Forum was the Arab Republic of Egypt. We were delighted to welcome the Prime Minister, H.E. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, as the Guest of Honour to the Forum.
Once again, more than 600 leading experts and decision makers from business, politics and science attended the event. Dorsch Gruppe was one of the event's partners. CEO of Dorsch Gruppe and Vice President of Ghorfa Olaf Hoffmann (2nd from left) actively participated in the discussion forums and discussions.
It was a well-established conference that offered an excellent networking opportunity to establish new business relationships and to enhance existing ones with German counterparts.
