New Contract for DC India with Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC)

DC India signed signs new contract with Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) in Chittagong, Bangladesh for Project Management Consultant of the project “Jet A-1 Pipeline from Pitolganj to Kurmitola Aviation depot (KAD) at Dhaka, including Pumping Facilities”.

After finalizing the FEED package and feasibility study for the aviation A-1 pipeline successfully last year, the client awarded DC India the consulting assignment of Project Management Consultancy to implement this prestigious and important project. Once completed, Jet A-1 will be transported through pipe line instead of current practice of transporting through road tankers. This will help to reduce leakage, pilferage, pollution, reduce traffic congestion on the road and also will offer huge administrative relief to BPC/ POCL.

Energy and Mineral Resources Division has given top priority to this project and the project needs to be completed on fast track in national interest of Bangladesh. This project is aimed at ensuring uninterrupted supply of fuel to aircrafts at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA), Dhaka, Bangladesh. The aviation pipeline has a total length of 16 Km and leads through the existing challenging infrastructure on landside and river crossings. The construction will be executed during the coming one year.
