Olaf Hoffmann, CEO of Dorsch Gruppe, has been appointed to the Private Sector Advisory Board of the German Association for International Cooperation (GIZ).
Cooperation with the private sector is an indispensable component of German development cooperation. The GIZ Private Sector Advisory Board provides a platform for networking and regular dialogue between GIZ and the private sector.
The Advisory Board comprises representatives of German corporations and industrial associations. It meets at least twice a year to identify common fields of activity and cooperation possibilities. The next meeting will take place on May 7, 2018 in Eschborn.
Dr. Michael Rabbow of Boehringer Ingelheim serves as Chairman of the Advisory Board. Further members are representing the companies and organizations Volkswagen AG, Telekom, Perfekta GmbH and Carl Duisburg-Gesellschaft (CDG) as well as the Confederation of German Employers (BDA), the Federation of German Industries (BDI), the German Confederation of Skilled Crafts (ZdH), the German Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHT) and the German Association of Consulting Engineers (VBI).
