Description
KauriCAB Group plans to build approximately 2,000 new residential units on the former site of the aviation equipment factory in Berlin Hakenfelde. The neighborhood is to be characterized by a high degree of social, infrastructural and ecological integrity, integrating new and existing buildings. Urban development areas for the construction of utility facilities are not available - except for existing areas. Development of a hybrid utility concept consisting of on-site plants and connection to a district heating network. The project is to develop a hybrid supply concept consisting of on-site systems and a connection to a district heating network. The project shall be accompanied until the conclusion of the contracting agreement and a technical evaluation of the contract contents as Owner's Engineer shall be carried out. BLS Energieplan was selected for further planning of the technical infrastructure with focus on heat network and heat generating plants.
Outcome:
- Development of a hybrid supply concept consisting of on-site plants and connection to a district heating network
- Accompaniment of the project until conclusion of the contracting agreement, technical evaluation of the contract contents as Owner's Engineer
- BLS Energieplan was selected for the further planning of the technical infrastructure with focus on heat network and heat generating plants.
